Montessori Elementary children are encouraged to integrate art, music, theatre and presentation skills into their work and share it with peers or with other classrooms. Some examples of the Montessori School of Fremont's Performing Arts curriculum are as follows:

Student Exhibitions

Elementary students practice and present a variety of their work to parents from throughout the Montessori community who want to know more about the Elementary Montessori. They demonstrate not only the use of the materials but also their grasp on each concept.

Day of Honor

Students research a historical figure, write a speech, create a period costume and get in character to present their speeches to a gathering of teachers, parents and other family members.

Opera

Every year the Elementary classes put on a spectacular musical production coordinated by Sanford and Judy Jones of Youth Opera International. Every single child is involved in the performance from designing sets, props and costumes to playing a role in the production.

Talent Show Picnic

A time for families to come together. Students have the opportunity to showcase their musical, athletic and other talents at this end of the year community event.
